WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

This conference is geared to meet the needs of snubber program owners. However, implementation personnel responsible for any program aspect will benefit from the conference. Persons involved in snubber program administration, licensing, code compliance, and "hands-on" field work with snubbers should plan to attend. Anyone who works with snubbers in any capacity is welcome to attend the conference, and will benefit from the information that is readily exchanged between others in your own capacity at other plants. There is no cost for member utility representatives to attend the conference. Nonmember utilities are allowed to attend up to two conferences as guests without joining SNUG. Snubber product and service vendors may also attend and provide technical information to assist the utility personnel during the conference.

The preliminary agenda for the conference may be viewed at the link below. The agenda includes a number of items that should be of special interest to those who are relatively new to snubber responsibilities, as well as for those who are more experienced. Some segments of the conference will be dedicated to an overview of issues and concerns that have been previously addressed, but that newer members may not be familiar with. Opportunities will be provided for attendees to select topics that they wish to see revisited in more detail, and those topics will be presented later in the conference agenda. For this reason the agenda is subject to change depending upon the needs and desires of those in attendance.
